Your business, and the blog connected to your business, are things that you want to promote, at least if you want to make the most money with them possible. Sometimes it’s hard to figure out what to do to get the most attention. However, the whole idea is to just get your name out there.
That starts with having something to share, like good blog posts, and updated product or service listing. You need to know where to promote your business, and how to promote it as well. Here are some things you can do in order to get your name out there, and hopefully make more money.
Tell Your Story
If you want your website and blog to get attention, you need to have something attention getting on them. That means having photos and telling your story. Anywhere you go online you can find stories of people’s trials and tribulations.
Tell people how you got into your business of choice, what training you went through, and your past experience in the field. Don’t just use your about page to tell people about your business, delve deeper into your story with your blog, especially if it’s inspirational. People like inspirational stories and will be happy to read yours and share it with other people in need of some inspiration.
Don’t hold back when it comes to creating a compelling story. People want to know the truth about how you got where you are. They want to know the struggle that you went through, as it gives them more hope that they too can be successful one day.
Share Your Story
Don’t just tell your story on your own blog and website though, make sure you are sharing it. If you have an especially compelling or inspirational life and business story you can find other bloggers and websites that will also want to tell your story. Do interviews and do guest blogs to get your name and story out there.
You also need to share all of your stories, whether they are on your own site or someone else’s, through your social media. Social media remains an important part of online business, blogging, and marketing. In fact, recently Facebook changed up their Notes app to make it more like a blog, so you have more options when it comes to blogging spaces now.
Social media is a great way to get attention, and it is one way that you are going to need to utilize if you want your story, or any of your blog posts, to go viral. You can use social media, as it’s the best way to reach the most people in one shot. You just want to make sure that whatever you are posting is something people want to know and can get behind.
